This body of work pivots around the idea of “Minimum Inventory, Maximum Diversity” discussed in Peter Pearce’s book Structure in Nature is a Strategy for Design. These objects are created by silp casting ceramic forms using a pre-determined "kit of parts". Within that language of forms, infinite possibilities emerge for arrangement. Embedded within the act of reducing my visual vocabulary, I explore minimalism on a formal and personal level. I’m interested in how I adapt creatively having fewer choices, and the resulting infinite possibilities when arranging space with less.
