The small sculpture in this series came as a result of wanting to make objects based on the forms that appear in the ceramic and acrylic wall pieces. These Hybrid Forms feel like familiar creatures or organisms, but are rooted in playful interaction and imaginary systems working closely together.  Materials including pigmented casting foam, wire, flock, acrylic and fired ceramic play a role in inviting the viewer to inspect the nuances present in these bizarre forms.
