Born from the desire to reference microscopic imagery, this series of translucent ceramic and acrylic wall pieces blends, hybridizes, and reexamines the patterns and prevailing ways of the natural world. I’m interested in marrying source imagery, which through varied point of view, encourages close investigation and poses questions about material use. I’m excited about the potential for these panels to read as small cross sections of much larger scenarios; minute, intricate, and juicy parts of a vast system.
